SUMMARY:Home Visitor Research Training: HARC
DESCRIPTION:Home visitors are critical partners in home visiting (HV) resea
 rch and quality improvement projects. The goal of the Home Visitor Researc
 h Training is to increase the number of home visitors who partner in rese
 arch by providing guidance on research design\, methods\, and interpretati
 on and dissemination of findings. By increasing home visitors’ engagemen
 t in research\, it will ensure that HV research generates information that
  is useful to HV programs and families.\n\nWith funding from the Patient C
 entered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI)\, a team of home visiting staf
 f and managers\, model developers\, and researchers oversaw development of
  four short (~20 minute) video modules that aim to increase home visitors
 ’ research knowledge and research self-efficacy. All videos are free for
  download/viewing. Examples of ways in which this training could be used a
 re: (a) as part of ongoing home visitor training/professional development 
 or (b) onboarding for home visitors who are partners on a research project
 .\n\ntraining Module 1\n\n\ntraining Module 2\n\n\ntraining Module 3\n\n\n
 training module 4\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nOnce you have finished all of the modules\
 , we request that you complete a short training survey. Your feedback will
  be very useful in helping the team continually improve these training mod
 ules.
